Max Branning on what it is like to be a father to a newborn baby, and how you cannot be afraid of making mistakes in such a situation:

“I remember when Abi was born. She was this angry, red faced little thing. Screaming and crying. I was bricking it. Picked her up out of her cot, she put both her hands on my face. She kissed my nose. That was it. I swear to God, I was….smitten.”

Today’s episode of Home and Away was not a good one for Indi Walker, as at the end she finally found out that Romeo had slept with Ruby. It was however a good episode for all us fans of Indi as she spent all of her time on screen parading about in a number of tiny bikini’s.

Firstly she appeared on the beach having just completed some surfing in a delightful little green number, before discussing Gina Palmer’s decision to get rid of Xavier’s car after he went joyriding wearing a fine red bikini (Indi obviously, not Xavier. That would be sickening). She then received the news of Romeo’s infidelity in the same red bikini coupled with a delightful black waistcoat.

Rumours reaching Blokes on Soaps Towers recently indicate that in the near future we will be seeing a lot more of actress Samara Weaving wearing very little, and on today’s evidence that is fantastic news for all concerned. One of the best episodes of Home and Away so far this year? Without a doubt

Home and Away costume designers, thank you. In recent months they have been supplying Ruby Buckton with a vast amount of costumes that show off her delightful cleavage. And now it looks like their latest target is April Scott, played by Rhiannon Fish.

We’ve seen April a couple of times in a bikini in the past, but usually these moments have unfortunately featured Xavier and his odd-shaped head. Now that she is newly-single though after nearly dying at the hands of some poisonous chemicals, it appears that she is determined to flaunt her assets around the Bay, as happened when she visited Dexter Walker’s house.

If a girl as insanely hot as Miss Scott can hang around with cross-dressing freaks (and we say this in the nicest way possible – even Dex’s old man Sid reckons he is a weirdo), then it gives hope to all us blokes out there. We can only hope Dexter was able to get a full view and enjoy April’s charms through the plethora of womena make-up he was wearing at the time

Max Branning on why it is important to go to school and get an education, even if you are a teenage girl and are suffering your period at the time:

“Is she going back to school or what? No? Well, that’s alright then ‘cos there’s plenty of jobs out there. What do you mean Mummy understands? Understands what Tan? That she’s going to throw her education down the pan because she’s on her monthly? You know it’s only once a month now aint it. Can’t be that bad otherwise you’d all be dead. She don’t need a hot water bottle. She needs a couple of GCSE’s.”

Ian Beale keeps it real with plans to release his autobiography, and explains just how and why it would be a best seller

“Do you know what, this takes me back to when I was a budding chef. I used to have to go round to my Grans to do all my cooking, make my shepherds pie and stuff. I should write my autobiography. It would be an inspiration to young entrepreneurs everywhere. I mean, they wouldn’t just benefit from my career experience. There’s my wealth of life experience as well.”

Ian then keeps it even more real by indicating just what a bible of advice the Beale Biography could be when he begins quoting this unwritten book to help Masood out of the spot of bother he is in financially

“So you’ve got a cashflow propblem. Does Zainab know about this temporary blip? Mas, Mas, Mas. In business, as in marriage, honesty is the key to unlocking the door to success. Ian Beale – Life in Food, Chapter One. I think you should be honest with your wife. But then again, being honest with your wife never was your strongpoint was it?”
