Blokes On Soaps

This isn’t strictly anything to do with Coronation Street, but when we saw these photos we thought “bloody hell.” So it’s only right that we decide to share them with blokes everywhere who have taken a shining to Brooke Vincent and Sacha Parkinson in their roles as lesbian couple Sophie Webster and Sian Powers

The two recently traded the dreary weather of Manchester for the sun of Spain. This, obviously, meant plenty of opportunities to flaunt themselves in bikini’s which, given the lack of revealing outfits on show from Corrie, was a more than welcome addition to the Blokes on Soaps photo vault.

Hopefully, the great interest that these snaps will cause will force the producers to think “hang on a minute, if we have these two pratting about, doing lesbian things wearing very little then a lot more blokes will tune in”. It obviously wouldn’t be in the tradition of Coronation Street, but when you have two girls as hot as these two look then sometimes tradition has to go out of the window.

They won’t have long to swing that plan into action though with the news that Sacha is leaving the soap soon, in which case we will all just have to keep our fingers crossed that her and Brooke take some more girly holidays together to hot climates

Coronation Street’s teen lesbians Sophie Webster and Sian Powers saw in 2011 by taking their relationship up a level by engaging in some hot lesbian action. Its what the nation had been waiting months for, and finally we got to see them in bed together going at it!

Sophie and Sian’s lesbian sex session was soured though when they were busted by Sally Webster. They should have asked her to join in!

The new years eve edition of Coronation Street saw Deirdre discovering  Tracy Barlow lying motionless in the back yard with a head injury. Steve Macdonald was also on the scene, his hands covered in Tracy’s blood. Was he the one that really did attack his former lover ? or did he just ‘find her like it’ as he claimed to Deirdre as the episode came to a close?

Who left Tracy Barlow lying in a pool of her own blood?

There are certainly no shortage of potential assailants as Tracy had done a superb job in upsetting as many of the locals as possible since her return to Weatherfield.

Here are the suspects:

Steve Macdonald - Tracy vowed to move away with Steve’s daughter Amy.
Becky Macdonald - Tracy knows the secret that Becky paid her sister for custody of little Max.
Gail McIntyre - Tracy screwed Gail over in prison in order to attempt to get a lesser sentence for herself.
David Platt - Wants revenge for his mother Gail, and angry that Tracy slept with his brother Nick after David slept with her too.
Nick Tilsley - Is in a mess as things have cooled between himself and Leanne Barlow. Nick slept with Tracy, regrets his actions and wants to make things right.
Claire Peacock - Suffered no end of abuse since Tracy’s return, most notably regarding comments about her recently deceased husband.
Sean Tully - Tracy decided to be outrageously homophobic to Sean in the Rovers on New Years Eve.
Eileen Grimshaw - Another publican enjoying a drink in the Rovers when attacked by Tracy’s acid tounge regarding Eileen’s taste in fashion.
Mary Taylor - ‘Scary Mary’ was invovled in many exchanges with Tracy thoughout the night and actually gave as good as she got. She told Rita, Norris and Emily that she could see Tracy’s head on a slab, a prediction of her own actions perhaps?

Our Verdict
Claire Peacock – it’s always the quiet one.

Coming up this week in Coronation Street is the big Tram disaster storyline,  it’s being done to mark the 50th anniversary of Corrie and will also include an hour-long  live episode of the show on Thursday 9th December at 8pm.

What viewers are ‘dying’ to know is which three characters will be getting killed off.

Here’s who I think it will be:

1. Molly Dobbs
She’s set to leave the street with baby in tow, but I think she will get squashed by the Tram before she gets chance to depart.

Her death will leave the interesting storyline of Tyrone having to look after baby Jack, as Kevin won’t be able to take custody of the child as Sally can’t ever know that Kevin had been having an affair with Molly.

It’ll be a shame to see Molly leave as she is fit in a ‘I bet she’s really filthy’ way.  Her death will however be some relief to Kevin as it means Sally won’t ever find out about the affair…..

Sian Powers to DIE

2. Sian Powers
Yes, this one is really going to pull at the heart strings of the viewers, but I think the teen lesbian relationship is going to end. Sian will be trapped, legs mangled, and Sophie will be there, tearfully clutching her hand as poor Sian slips away.  Sian’s death will lead to Sophie going off the rails for months, eventually leading to her deciding that she’s attracted to men again and ends up appearing half naked on our screens on a regular basis like her older sister Rosie.

3. Ashley Peacock
Ashley and his wife Claire are set to start a new life in France, if they are leaving anyway, then why not kill Ashley off? I’ve enjoyed Ashley as a character over the years, but he’s become so stale, mainly due to a lack of decent storylines, at least he got to shag Maxine (Tracey Shaw)

If Claire decides to stay in Weatherfield, I’d like to see her hook up with Norris Cole.

Sophie and Sian are at it once again!

Coronation Street, thank you. Thank you a thousand times over. Lesbian kisses on the show look like fitting into the classic London buses analogy – none for the close to fifty years, and then three in a month. Following their smooch back on April 11th, Sophie Wesbter and Sian Powers were at it again on Friday’s installment from the cobbles – TWICE.

Sian, played by Sacha Parkinson, finally gave the audience what they wanted, by admitting that she did have feelings for Brooke Vincent’s character Sophie, leading to two passionate kisses and the prospect of a long running lesbian storyline featuring two right little sorts. It’s great news for all us men out there, and it will certainly have the Blokes on Soaps team tuning into the going’s on up in Weatherfield.

So, without further adew, here is the latest installment of Sophie and Sian locking lips- let there be many many more in the coming months as this fantastic storyline grows!

We at Blokes on Soaps towers love a good old lesbian kiss. And we are pretty certain that you do too. With that in mind, we have spent the time and effort to put together load of STILL images of the greatest moment in Coronation Street history since the discovery that Amy Cropper used to have a wedding vegetable.

It’s always great to see a lesbian kiss, and it’s even better when it involves two extremely fit actresses, which both Brooke Vincent and Sacha Parkinson are. Our pictures show that Sophie Webster is fast growing into a beautiful young woman to rival her sister Rosie, although with the innocence that gives her a girl-next-door like feeling compared to her older sisters glamour looks. (The Sophie v Rosie debate is another blog entry for another time!)

Lets hope that Sian Powers and Sophie end up locking lips a lot more in the future – but for now, you’ll just have to enjoy these stills. We certainly have!
